![]() ![]() Stevie was worth the price of admission alone. "You got your money's worth," said my mom when I told her about the epic night. It was a full night of music! It really WAS a co-headlining night. Stevie played over an hour + a half, there was a short intermission of a half hour while they changed stages and people bought merch and fried food, then Billy and the band came on around 9:30 pm and played until 11:30 pm. It was like seeing two legends in concert in one night! I know it was billed that way but I was expecting a short opening set and then the main act like usual, but that's not what happened! How do I always seem to NOT have my earplugs?! (Not that I would have worn them during Stevie’s set anyhow). When I got home from seeing Stevie and Billy Joel close to 1 am my ears were still ringing and my love for rock and roll was renewed. Here are some of my concert pics to tell the story of the night from when I got through the gate: I had on my Stevie tour tee I bought at her last concert. I love it when you start to see concert goers in concert wear, in this case it was vintage Billy Joel t-shirts and Stevie look a likes in top hats and black flowing outfits. We're descending on the venue from far and wide for a night of music to feed our soul. ![]() To avoid the massive traffic jams, concert goes like myself park far away and walk over bridges to get to our seats. Making the trek to Nissan Stadium feels like going on a rock n' roll pilgrimage. Is my ticket loaded on my phone and ready to go. I was going to see Stevie! Everything felt right again in my world! I live to see these concerts!Īs the time would soon be approaching that I'd jump in the car and cruise over to the show, I went through my 'concert checklist' in my mind. Fun Fact: This “makeup session” demo of ‘Wild Heart’ was recorded from the Bella Donna Rolling Stone photo shoot.Whatever happened the rest of the day until it was time to take off for the show time was just filler.
